De Volksbank also pays compound interest to customers with a revolving consumer credit

Summary

Under the compensation scheme for customers and former customers with a revolving consumer credit, de Volksbank N.V. (de Volksbank) will also pay compound interest, thus following the recent ruling by the Appeals Board of the Dutch Institute for Financial Disputes Kifid in a case against another credit provider.

For the expansion of the compensation scheme, de Volksbank will make an additional provision of € 4 million charged to the result for the second half of 2022, on top of the provision of € 15 million made in 2021.
